
Mark Tomeo
Originally from Boston, MA, Mark Tomeo played and recorded with 80's bands "Rubber Rodeo", "The DBS" and "The Gun Club". During his Pennsylvania exile he has performed and recorded with Davy Jones, the Badlees, Darcie Miner, Neon Cactus, Case 150, Van Wagner, KJ and John Dillon among a host of other regional acts. Tomeo's glorious results of a misspent life include: "I saw Hendrix three times, toured with Psychedelic Furs, and had to have the Heimlich maneuver performed in front of Merle Haggard and his band after choking at the pre-concert dinner when Neon Cactus opened for him in Williamsport in '97." Tomeo's career highlights include a largest audience of 270,000 (Jamboree in the Hills) (Neon Cactus). Tomeo has performed at venues such as The Paradise, Boston; CBGB and Lone Star, NYC; 9:30 Club, DC; Tippitina's, New Orleans; Madame Wong's, LA; Agora Ballroom, Cleveland; Marquee, London (Rubber Rodeo) His biggest honor was being nominated for a Grammy Award in 2005 (Rubber Rodeo) but lost to David Bowie, curse his thin, white Dukeness.
Doug Riley - Saxophone and Keyboard
Doug is a professional saxophonist and pianist. He is also a jazz clinician, guest conductor and adjudicator. Early in his career, he played with Camden Record's Nu-Tones, followed by a decade with The Crosstown Bus. He also plays various Big Bands such as Arlen Saylor, Buzz Jones and Into the Spin.
Bill Stetz - Bass
Bill Stetz has added his expressive bass playing to a wide variety of ensembles over the past twenty years. While based in State College, PA. He performed and/or recorded with “Queen Bee and the Blue Hornet Band”, “The Triple A Blues Band”, “The Earthtones” ( regagae), and the “Arthur Goldstein Quartet” (jazz). Since relocating to Lewisburg PA. He has also contributes to local classic jazz standouts pianist Steve Adams and drummer Phil Haynes as well as the “Burgess, Mitchell and Seal trio”.
Jack Lawton - Drums and Percussion
Another of Ann's Crosstown Bus mates, Jack Lawton is the owner of Lawton Drum Co. Besides performing with the Cronies; Jack has been a Journeyman drummer since the early 1970'. He continues to perform with various Jazz and Big Bands in the Central PA.
